We're rapidly approaching the end of Fall as this page is posted. Three pictures above were taken in Ireland, which we toured with The Fenians, a band we enjoy, in November, 2004. The middle picture is of a pub in Westport. I thought some of you Goths who've written about the Castles pictures on this site might get a kick out of the mural.

Picture number two is a few of the windmills in Palm Springs that generate electricity for the area, with part of Mount San Jacinto in the background.

Number five is my Arab, O'Henry, at our family's little stable in Joshua Tree, which we call the "Dusty Boots Corral". Jaz, who is pictured in the Spring 2004 wallpaper, is currently at boarding school in 29 Palms, where she'll learn how to wear a saddle and carry a rider. Her daughter, Journey, is still with us and doing very well in her ground training at 10 months.

O'Henry and I did a two-hour photo shoot in picture five's holiday costume from TheHorseTailor.com, which includes ruffled boots not seen in this picture. Many of the pictures were taken in a portrait orientation, which doesn't lend itself to desktop wallpaper; thus the addition of the blue space on the left. All my desktop icons fit perfectly in that open blue space and this is currently my wallpaper. Perhaps there's a horse lover you know, or you ARE a horse lover, who can enjoy this Holiday wallpaper.

Added 12/10/04: Hubby, John, liked a photo I got of his big pinto, Cimarron, after O'Henry's shoot. An extra 800 x 600 wallpaper has been added for him.

By the way, if you like email stationary , try our free email stationery site, byKAT.com. It's another way we share our photographs, and there are several horsey holiday letters there. These email letters are for use with the Incredimail email program which can be downloaded free at Incredimail.com.

That's it for now. Our sincere thanks go to those of you who've left comments in the guest book or taken the time to email. Those comments and notes are what make doing this page worthwhile.

Happy Holidays,

KAT

Auld Lang Syne

(Scottish version)

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne?

Chorus
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne
We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

We twa hae run about the braes
And pu'd the gowans fine
But we've wander'd mony a weary foot
Sin' auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidl't in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin' auld lang syne.

And surely ye'll be your pint stoup
And surely I'll be mine
And we'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.
